- He tricks people when he is angry
AXIS 2 - personality disorders
- Histrionic personality disorder
- He did not get a chance from Mr. Incredible when he was a boy
- Felt ignored growing up
- Wants to beat all real superheroes
- He uses people like Mirage
- He does very dramatic things to get attention
AXIS 3 - general medical conditions
- His hair is too big
- His hair could hurt his neck as he gets older
- His technology could break and electrocute him
- He doesn't have real super powers like force field to protect him
AXIS 4 - social problems
- Nobody took him seriously when he was a kid
- Doesn't understand boundaries and can't have real friendships
- He kidnaps baby Jack Jack after his other plans fail
- Tries to kill whole Incredible family on purpose
AXIS 5 - global assessment of functioning
- 20 because he wants to hurt others. He can only think of his goals and forgets about other people. He can't understand other people.
Treatment
- Cognitive behavioral development for histrionic personality disorder
- Group therapy and talk therapy
- He needs to be able to talk about his feelings and his past childhood
- There is no medicine for histrionic personality disorder
- Needs to talk about his dramatic behavior and crimes to understand why he does them
Long term prognosis
- Histrionic personality disorder therapy is only useful if it happens for a long time
- If Syndrome gets therapy for many years, he could understand why he acts dramatically
- He could talk to the Incredibles family and ask for forgiveness or talk about things
